The right bank of the Don is a favorite place for walks among Rostovites. The embankment is named after the admiral of the Russian fleet Fyodor Ushakov. Pedestrian paths are laid along the bank, which are pleasant to walk along and admire the surface of the Don.
On the days of celebrations, almost the entire city comes here. The main attraction of Teatralnaya Square is the stele “Liberators of Rostov”, which the residents of Rostov called “Nika”.
A recreation area with shady alleys, bridges, rotundas, sculptures and street cafes is located in the center of Rostov-on-Don. Walking in Gorky Park is equally pleasant during the day and in the evening.
This is one of the main and oldest streets of Rostov - it was first marked on the city plan in 1781.
